About Dr. Nicole Crispinelli

Dr. Nicole Crispinelli has dedicated her career to working with children, adolescents, and their families. She has worked as a full time School Psychologist within Westchester County for the last 10 years. Her experience in school settings has provided her with the knowledge and expertise to ensure that student’s needs are being met. She is passionate about supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development. She has also served as a Chairperson for the Committee on Special Education and Section 504 Accommodation Plans. This role involves leading the initial and annual review meetings, ensuring appropriate educational placements, and facilitating communication among families, school staff, and related service providers. 

 

After completing her doctoral degree at St. John’s University, Dr. Crispinelli completed a postgraduate, intensive certification program in school neuropsychology, earning the status of Diplomate in School Neuropsychology from the American Board of School Neuropsychology. Her specialized training in neuropsychological assessment allows her to understand the unique learning and development profiles of each child to inform future interventions.

 

Dr. Crispinelli has also served as a faculty member in the School Psychology graduate program at Mercy University. Her teaching emphasizes the integration of theory, research, and practice, with a strong focus on evidence-based interventions, ethical decision-making, and culturally responsive practices. She takes pride in fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically, engage deeply, and grow both personally and professionally. Through mentorship and instruction, she strives to inspire future practitioners to become effective advocates for children, families, and schools.

 

While providing neuropsychological assessment and consultation through a private practice, Dr. Crispinelli remains committed to utilizing these same approaches.
